Photography and KidLift

When I’m not writing, I like to dabble in photography and help out my friends. I’ve spent some time doing photography for families and friends, but what I really like to do is take photos that tell stories.  I’m a great poor person’s photographer for those on a budget and will do free shoots for High School Seniors who don’t have funds for professional images. I’m a jack of all trades, master of none but I’m better than some rando’s camera phone 😉

Hower, my bigger love is to take creative and unusual photos that tell a story. For instance, what is the story one would make up about the photo below? It sort of has a Time Traveler’s Wife feel to me, the little girl looking at her shoes, the tiny moon way up in the sky… I’m not sure why.  But I bet I could come up with several ideas just from this one photo.

KidLift

As mentioned before, I do enjoy helping out friends and know the struggle of getting kids to where they need to be during the summer days when they aren’t in school. That’s why I’d like to offer a pick-up/drop-off service to friends and friends of friends. To reassure you, I have my MSW in social work and have worked in schools and in social services, working exclusively with children 18mo-18 years old. Currently, I run a writing club at TADL where the members create their own zines and websites for their written works. That can be found here. This is to show you that I have passed background checks. I have a clean driving record as well, but your kid may be subjected to my latest music playlist. Service times would run 8am-8pm most days. For short-notice help, please text me. If you’re here, you should have my contact information 😉

If you’d like to book me for a Kidride, please click this link and reference my calendar below. If you see a time next to Unavailable-click to see the time frame I am booked for.
